My photographic journey began

My journey into photography started in my early 20s, borrowing my dad's 35mm camera a few too many times! He eventually suggested I get my own, and I did, starting with a Minolta X700. A good friend also picked up a Canon AE-1, and we enrolled in night classes at Citrus Community College. We later both upgraded to Nikons, my first being an FE2.

From hobby to passion

Years later, I invested in my first DSLR, a D90, with a firm resolution: I would make it pay for itself. Initially, I moved back to Southern California, building portfolios for amateur models. Soon after, I relocated to Arizona and found myself immersed in the local track scene and a traveling racing series. Both opportunities not only paid for that first D90 but for many more cameras that followed, solidifying my passion for motorsports photography.

Capturing moments for generations

Beyond simply taking great pictures, my goal is to create photographs that will be cherished and shared for generations. While a race car might eventually be sold, the memories captured in a photograph can last indefinitely within a family. I strive to create images that tell a story, evoke emotion, and become a treasured part of your family's history.

Beyond the lens: A fun fact

When I'm not behind the camera capturing thrilling moments, you might find me indulging in one of my greatest pleasures: a really good cheeseburger. It's a simple joy, but a truly great cheeseburger is hard to beat!
